Center Piece Bowl
I bought a beautiful center piece bowl with candle holder. What else can I put in the holder instead of a?
candle? I don’t want a candy dish because I would be tempted to eat it. lol
Dawn G gave you some great ideas. I thought of a few more things;
1. Lemons
2. Limes
3. Clementine oranges or other small fruit
4. A pretty china figurine, nestled in potpourri or other filler
5. A few antique doorknobs or antique skeleton keys – lay one or two off to the side
6. Stacks of vintage photographs or post cards – tie a stack with a ribbon, jute, or raffia
7. A bird nest filled with 3 aftificial eggs, or just the eggs (speckled or blue)
Sorry, but I answered before I fully understood your question. I was thinking of filling the whole bowl, not just the holder. You may still be able to use some of the ideas I’ve presented, depending on the size of the holder part, or you might use the whole bowl if the holder is small and can be concealed.
