Islamic Question: Why would Abraham leave his original wife and legitimate son?

Allah told Abraham to leave Palestine with Ishmael and Hagar (because Issac and Ishmael would be the start and foundation of 3 religions and 2 nations).
Why would God encourage Abraham to leave his original wife and infant son, and leave to later form Mecca with an egyptian handmade and other son?
Surely it goes against family values and his original love for Sarah?
Abraham or Ibrahim (Ar) was so very attached to his son rather his mission, and this was improper to a prophet, who must be firstly attached to God, Ibrahim’s love to his son distracted him from his mission as a prophet, that’s why he was ordered to abandon the baby at this Phase. Ibrahim would have died if Hagar wasn’t with him as he was 2 or 3 Weeks old.
God made it a reason to change this craze to a normal Father-Son Love and to Construct this area.. where Ismael and Hagar were left. It was also a preparation for Ismail to become a prophet and help His father to reconstruct Kebba of Mecca.
