There are many components that make up an effective PPC campaign, and a solid landing page is one of them. The last thing you want is a landing page that is nothing but a show stopper. One very profitable task you can do is making your landing pages as highly optimized as possible.

Paying for things online is much different from giving their personal contact information in a web form. No matter where you are sending people, make sure the landing page is prominent on that page. One important thing to strive for is minimizing the total number of clicks regarding your landing page. Multiple pages will only bring down the conversion rate.
You can turn your audience away simply by creating a design that makes them uncomfortable. This is all called, usability, and it is a critically important piece of the puzzle. You can get around resistance to completing the form by using a link that gives them direct access, for example. These visitors may come back and convert later on, so the point here is to never push it on your visitors and give them a choice.
PPC advertising can be extremely effective, however you need to know what you are doing and work to improve your conversions. Creating and optimizing your landing page consistently is the key to turning your PPC investment into profit, so the more you work on it, the better.
