Carpet at some point may need to be restretched due to improperly acclamating
the carpet before it was installed or due to improper installation or abnormally heavy traffic. Restretching your carpet can add several years to the life of your carpet and that will save you money by not having to replace it. Carpet repairs are sometimes needed and can range from a cigarette burn to having to "seam in" a new section of carpet.
