Glass Apple
Does anyone remember this children’s story?
It had something to do with three little sisters and one of the had either a glass or golden apple (I forget which) that allowed her to see all these beautiful sights, and the two other sisters were jealous, so they told her to go for a walk with them in the woods and the little girl gave the apple to her dad for safe keeping, and the two sisters killed her for it. But since they couldn’t find it, they buried her body and went home and told their dad some story about something eating her or something. There was something to do with a reed that grew on her grave that sang a song about how she was murdered. I can’t find it in any books. I think the name was either the golden apple or the glass apple.
THAT was a childrens story? That’s terrifying? I’m going to have nightmares, and I’m 17, only being exposed to the description…
I’ve never heard of it, but it sounds like a very interesting story.
I’m sorry I’m not much help. You’ll figure it out sooner or later, these memories which lay in the darkest corners of our minds always find a way of coming out, usually at the oddest of times.
