Vases as Decor Pieces (Scale and Size)?

I have 2 large pictures framed, and centered above a sofa table and need advice on scale and size for a vase of dried flowers I will create as a decor piece. The size of each photo is 23 inches wide by 28 inches tall, and there are 2 of them side by side. The sofa/cocktail table directly underneath them is 48 inches wide.

Does that vase I place there have to be of a certain height and width? I was thinking of either a clear glass footed vase, or a basic cylinder, or square based shape vase.

Any suggestions will help!

Your vase should be fairly low so that when you put in the flowers they do not reach the height of
the pictures, if you’re talking about putting it on a sofa table beneath the pictures.
