Little Hostess
I need just a little hostessing advice (House Party)?
Kay, its not my FIRST party, but it is MY first party.
Halloween, right? Its kinda important, and I have 40+ people relying on me to make sure they have a good time this year. So, a couple questions:
1.) I don’t want to have lot of food, because food and getting intoxicated doesn’t mix well for everyone. But I don’t want to have absolutely nothing. So, what kind of little things should I serve?
2.) Music. Any other suggestions for Party songs, like by artists like LMFAO. Just need a couple more. What makes you excited when you here it?

If people are drinking, you DEFINITELY want to have food available. If it is served at a bar, it would be okay to have at a party (mozzarella sticks, pizza, wings, the big, fat pretzels). That kind of food earned the name “bar food” for a reason. Also, keep water handy. And this might sound kind of gross but we also keep buckets sitting around when we throw a party, just in case someone can’t make it to the bathroom. I’d rather spray puke out of a bucket with a hose than scrub it out of my carpet.
As far as music, I’d say go with some of the following:
Shwayze, Cobra Starship, Pitbull, Nicki Minaj, The Black Eyed Peas, Foster the People, Alexandra Stan, Far East Movement, Kid Cudi, Lupe Fiasco, etc.
Or just go to Pandora.com and set up a station for LMFAO and Pandora will suggest other artists like them.
