Handsome antique books can be found in used bookstores and garage sales (the best ones have leather covers and gilt writing!) and romantic themes. You could put out collections of books with a common theme, like French novels, Agatha Christie mysteries, or sonnets. Carry the concept to the next level and use your favorite literature to inspire the table names. You can “pretty up” the books with scattered flowers, crystal paperweights, or ribbons.
