Stacked Disc
Laptop question, please help!?
I have an HP Nc8000 … what is happening is I will plug it in, and the lights on the bottom right of the laptop try to boot up and go on, but then stop and the “lightening bolt” symbol’s light turns orange. So the power light and the 3 stacked discs light go green like it’s trying to turn on and boot up and you can hear the familiar booting up sound, but then it stops and the lightening bolt light turns orange. So the laptop won’t turn on. I changed batteries, but this was not the issue apparently. Please help!
You question gets a bit confusing. From what I know of computers, and a quick google search since I’ve never used an HP, is its either a Hard drive or mother board issue. This could be because the computer is old or used a lot, or because of some recent damage. You may need to take it in to get fixed or replaced.
