Why isn’t the sun purple?

an object at a given temperature gives off a spectrum of radiation. the sun being purple at a given time might be possible, but statistically unlikely. see:

the sun is at about 6000K, and 550nm is green if i remember correctly. when all of these colors are combined you see something close to white
